Kensington Palace

Kensington Palace

In recent weeks I visited in England a number of sites, including palaces. All this for a book and an exhibition in the making. The first was Kensington Palace in London. Kensington was a favorite palace of King stadtholder William III and Mary Stuart. They received groups here. Hereinafter it is used by the kings of the family Hanover, George I, II, III.

In 2017 I published a book about the black servants at the Court of the Royal Van Oranje family. More than a thousand documents have been found about their lives. (only in Dutch)
